Why Isnt My Sound Working On My Samsung Smart Tv. Hello I have a problem with my Samsung 65 UHD series 7 UE65RU7100. I have a UN43MU6300 4K UHD tv and the sound from just my HD DTA cable box isnt working.
How you do this depends on the model that you are using. I even hooked the box up to a different tv and the sound is fine. None of the tv channels have sound but when I play movies from the hard disk connected to sub it works great.

A display on screen should show if the TV is now muted or not. I unplug and re-plug the USB to TV only to find it cannot be recognized even. Make sure to enable the Sound Mirroring option on your Samsung TV. If you are using a separate home theater surround sound or sound bar with your television be sure to check the volume and mute on that device as well.
